This Friday night, American Legion Post 25 in Lake Placid is your destination for fun! George Durham and Gwen will rock the night away with live music from 6-9pm. Dinner will also be available from 5-7. For information call 465-0975

Make some new friends this Saturday morning at the Sebring Mobile Estates Social Club Breakfast. From 7-9:30am enjoy a hot, delicious breakfast for only $5 while meeting new faces. Proceeds benefit Feed the Hungry and the Humane Society.

The Master Gardeners of Highlands County present Garden Festival 2018, this Saturday at the Bert Harris Agriculture Center in Sebring. From 9am – 4pm you can browse and buy a wide variety of herbs, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and more. They’ll also have food, music, and workshops available too. Call 402-6540 to find out more.

The holidays aren’t always the easiest time of year for everyone. That’s why Bible Fellowship Church is holding a free seminar this Sunday called “Surviving the Holidays.” From 2-4pm you’ll learn how to cope with the emotions of losing a loved one and how to find hope for the future. Sebring Church of the Brethren will hold their annual community Thanksgiving service this Sunday at 4pm. There will be musical presentations from various community groups and Mayor John Shoop will share a special reading. Please bring a non-perishable food item for donation.
