The Armed Forces Tree Display and Dedication Ceremony will take place this Friday at 5pm at Veteran’s Square in Avon Park. The public is welcome to join this free event as we honor our military during the holidays.
American Legion Post 25 in Lake Placid invites you to see Dennis and Wendy perform this Friday from 6-9pm. Dinner will be available for purchase from 5-7.

The Sebring Christmas Parade is this Friday night at 7pm. Come early to get a great seat at this time-honored tradition. And don’t forget to see Santa Claus at the Carousel of Lights! He’ll be there through December 28th along with the rest of the holiday display.
The Highlands Ridge Arts and Crafts Fair is this Saturday, from 8:00 am to noon at Founder’s Hall in Avon Park. Discover decorative pieces and handmade treasures that’ll add to your home’s beauty and make great gifts this holiday season!
Come out to the Leisure Lakes Annual Christmas Boat Parade, this Saturday in Lake Placid, beginning at noon. Watch holiday-themed boats travel from Stearns Creek to Lake Carrie, while enjoying a BBQ and awards ceremony at 3pm. To register your boat for the parade call 215-896-0775.
Grab the family and come to the Avon Park Library this Saturday for movie day! There will be two holiday movies shown – One at 11:00 am and one at 2:00 pm. There will also be a story time at 1:00 pm.
This Friday, the Sebring Noon Rotary is sponsoring the annual Circle of Cans around downtown Sebring. From 7am to 3pm, stop by to donate canned goods and cash to assist the Salvation Army filling community needs. Call Mary for more info 385-8538.

Friday evening, join the Chic Chick Boutique at the Journal Plaza in Lake Placid for a night of family fun! Music in the Park begins at 5:30, the movie Mr. Popper’s Penguins will show at 7:30, and Sugar Sand Distillery will offer tastings of their fine spirits.

The Avon Park Mower-Plex invites you to Merry Mow-Down, this Saturday at 6pm. The fastest racing mowers will battle it out on the track going nearly 60mph. Adult tickets are only $7. Kids 10 and under are free. Please donate a toy to the on-site toy drive to help kids in need this holiday season.
