Sebring International Raceway has unveiled a commemorative logo ahead of the 75th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, set for March 2027. The design features a prominent “75” and classic blue racing stripes, honoring the event’s history dating back to 1952. Officials say the logo launch marks the start of a year-long celebration, which will include special events, historic car displays, and recognition of top drivers as part of the “Class of 75.”

Highlands County crews have begun reinstalling renovated sections of the floating dock at Dinner Lake as part of ongoing improvements to public access. Additional construction starts next week to replace remaining sections with a more durable, permanent structure built to withstand weather and low water levels. The Dinner Lake boat ramp remains open during the project, allowing continued access for fishing and boating. Officials say the upgrades are aimed at improving safety and long-term reliability at the popular recreation site.

Lenard Carlisle was recognized during his final Sebring City Council meeting Tuesday for more than 20 years of service to the city. John Shoop presented a proclamation noting Carlisle’s 12 years on council, along with prior roles on the Code Enforcement Board and multiple regional committees. Fellow council members also thanked him for his leadership and experience. Carlisle expressed appreciation to voters and colleagues as he concludes his term following the recent municipal election.

Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring practice is underway at Sebring International Raceway, where Porsche Penske Motorsport led the field during Thursday’s sessions. Felipe Nasr posted the fastest overall lap, continuing momentum from a recent Daytona win. Acura and Cadillac teams followed closely behind after late-session qualifying simulations, while Inter Europol Competition topped the LMP2 class. In GTD, Winward Racing’s Mercedes-AMG set the fastest class time, as teams prepare for qualifying Friday ahead of Saturday’s 12-hour endurance race.
