Highlands County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a shooting incident. It happened last night on E.O. Douglas Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood east of Sebring. Highlands County Sheriff’s officials are warning residents about a Coronavirus scam. Residents reportedly are getting calls with an offer for in-home testing. Apparently, those making the calls have a lot of information about the recipients which makes them sound legitimate.
