Should Avon Park city council members get help from taxpayers on filling out the newly required Form 6? That question will be up for discussion this evening when the city council meets for their regular session. The new form is much more intrusive and complex than former public disclosure forms. Some council members have expresed the desire for assistance, to make certain they don’t run afoul of the new regulations.
However, some of the council members say they should foot the bill for professional instruction. The form has caused some elected officials to step down – rather than discuss all their possessions and holdings.
In other action, the council will hear about roadway and water issues at the Crystal Lake Club mobile home park.
