Officials at the Sebring International Raceway are getting ready for what they’re calling “a small gathering of true race fans.” The Cadillac Grand Prix of Sebring will be held at the Sebring International Raceway next weekend.
Instead of the crush of fans normally seen, officials say small groups will be admitted on a timed basis. There will be some camping allowed, but there will be virtually no concession sales.
Masks and distancing will be required. So far, there have been 77 cars registered to run in the three races that have been scheduled for next weekend.

Officials of the Sebring Soda Festival reportedly have pulled the plug on the event. Originally, it had been pushed back to an October date. Now organizers say it has been put off until next year.

Wondering what those big black tanks are on the side of the Lake Placid Dollar General? Reportedly, they’re part of the store’s fire suppression system. Each of the big cannisters reportedly contains 40,000 gallons of water.
Authoritites say there’s a pump system that restores the supplies if the water is used or evaporates out. Another such system is in place at another outlet just south of Sebring
