Sebring police are investigating a home invasion incident around midnight this morning in the Highlands Homes neighborhood. Not many details have yet been released, but apparently shots were fired during the incident at a Rainbow Avenue address. No injuries were reported. Early morning fog socked in several areas of Highlands County during the pre-dawn hours. According to reports, between half and 70-percent of the recycling loads picked up by waste connections contain non-recyclable materials.
