There’s a new auto dealership in town. The former Alan Jay Toyota store now is known as Sebring Toyota. The automotive operation has been purchased by the Doherty Automotive Group. The firm consists of 14 stores in 10 locations, across Florida, North Carolina and Georgia.
It appears there will be no personnel or other major changes in the operation. In making the announcement, Alan Jay Wildstein said no other sales are anticipated. The Alan Jay Automotive Network will continue to maintain dealerships in Michigan, Miami, Wauchula, Clewiston and Highlands County.
Independence Day has just passed, and already the folks in Frostproof are thinking about Christmas. The City of Frostproof has announced this year’s 30th Annual parade in the Friendly City will be dubbed "Christmas Memories,"
In the past, it has been one of the largest such celebrations in Polk County – with Sheriff Grady Judd serving as the Grand Marshal.
For those planning to participate, it will be December 3rd – starting at 6pm.
