Highlands County Sheriff’s detectives reportedly are investigating a shooting that took place in The Palms at Lake Tulane apartment complex early Sunday morning. Lawmen called to the scene found a 30-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. He was transported to a local hospital by EMS for treatment of his injuries. The Sebring Parkway again is open after being closed all night. Florida Highway Patrol officials have been investigating a fatal traffic crash there. The incident happened about 9:30 last night at the intersection of the Parkway at Youth Care Lane.
